But what is thecomposite aluminium?
L'composite aluminium, also called "dibond” is a composite material with a sandwich structure, made up of two low-thickness external aluminum sheets, hot-bonded onto a thicker central layer, made up of synthetic material such as low-density polyethylene.
Compared to sheets made of full-body aluminium, the panels have advantages such as lower weight and high flatness.
The thickness is 3mm, the aluminum present on both faces is approximately 0.5mm, while the central polyethylene is approximately 2mm.
